The sentimental pick is the New Orleans Saints. Everyone wants that town to have a feel-good moment after the past five years of recovering from Hurricane Katrina.
Sorry, it doesn’t work that way.
Indianapolis is the better team. While we respect momentum and the Saints offense, the Colts are a better team on both sides of the ball. Their defense is especially better even if Dwight Freeney doesn’t play with a torn ankle ligament.
We see Indianapolis winning easily.
Selections: Indianapolis (-5 ½) 30, New Orleans 20; Under 56 ½
